Fitmark Ambassador Melissa Creal shares a few tips on how to address the stress factor with simplicity
Something that everyone encounters at one or more points in their life is stress. How we react to this feeling can either benefit or harm us. A few simple tips can be a game changer in your life. These tips were given to me and after implementing them into my daily lifestyle I realized how obvious they must seem to some people.
1) Realize you cannot control everything. This was the hardest tip for me to realize as I feel that my life is going to spiral out of control if I do not have 100% control of everything. Some days it is best to just let things happen when they want to happen and not use all your energy focusing on things you cannot change.
2) Don’t procrastinate. I touched on this in a previous blog but I cannot emphasize on how important it is to being doing, and how much easier life gets! Start now, not later.
3) Don’t be monotonous. You can’t expect different results from doing the same things, so why are you stressing about it until you change it up? From diets to exercise to completing tasks, a change in the regular routine is sometimes a fresh breathe of air and it may lead to a better option!
Realizing that stress is ok, is also very important. If you were not stressed out at some point in your life, it means that it wasn’t important to you. Stress, although irritating, can drive the results you desire as long as you realize the steps you need to take to keep your stress levels under control. Live life happy!
