Fitmark Ambassador Zane Hadzick encourages you to start molding the goals you set out to accomplish
Aside from believing in yourself, the title of this blog post is the absolute biggest piece of advice I give people when they come to me for help with their personal, professional, and/or fitness aspirations. I believe that there is widespread misconception that fit, healthy, happy, or successful people are just plain lucky; in fact, I think it’s the complete opposite. I firmly believe that fit, healthy, happy, and/or successful people are those who work the hardest at it – hence the name of this post! When an individual stops passively accepting things for what they are and starts to invest time, energy, and effort into shaping the outcome, that individual may not always acquire what they desire, but I can assure you that the probability of success substantially increases.
It was this very realization that radically changed my life. Once I stopped submissively accepting things for the way they were and begin to invest effort into shaping them, I realized I had power to change things in my life for the better. I challenge you to do the same. Rise up to the challenge and start shaping the events that come your way instead of taking them! So what if you fail and don’t succeed; which will happen. What’s important is that you accept the failure and never quit your efforts to shape the events that occur in your life! Sure, things will happen to you by chance that may get in your way, but the important thing is that you embrace the change, adapt, and still fervently work toward your goal!
Regardless of what you are working toward – whether it’s fitness ambition or a work goal – take the time to strategize a way to enhance the likelihood and making that aspiration reality and don’t simply allow chance to have the upper hand!
