One of the first questions I ask my clients are “What are your goals?” and “when do you want to achieve them by?” and “what is holding you back from your goals?” I convinced a few of my clients (also known as my tribe) to wake up extra early on a rainy, breezy, cool Saturday morning to run a 5k. Running this 5k was one step closer to a big goal for a few of my tribe members.
For example, one of my tribe members ran her first 5k. Her biggest fear and hesitation is that she wouldn’t be able to catch her breath during her run and it happened her chest got heavy, her breathing became labored, and she was terrified that she was going to pass out but you know what…. she finished the race 2 minutes ahead of me. I couldn’t be more proud and inspired.
At the end of the race my tribe member was so happy to be finished that it took a while for the realization that she just conquered one of her biggest fears and she is one step closer to her big goal of running an obstacle race in the fall to set in. Sometimes all it takes is having someone to hold you accountable and believe in you and your goals just as much as you do to make them happen. I am blessed with the ability to motivate and inspire my clients to push past their fears and burn down their self imposed boxes to achieve and exceed the life they have imagined.
Not only do I support my clients in their health and fitness goals but I also support them in any goal that they want to manifest. I have created a tribe of people of various ages and stages of life that supports and encourages each other on their journey towards greatness. It is such a beautiful thing to witness people that may have never connected not only connect but also to create lasting friendships through support, commitment, and inspiration – it truly does take a village to create the life you have imagined.
