Welcome to summer! Finally, right?! I don’t know about you but I have been cooped up inside long enough! I love my indoor weight sessions, but outdoor cardio and warm sunshine is calling my name!
Many of these blogs talk about setting goals and their importance, so I’m going to share one of my summer goals with you. Hopefully you’ll join along with me in one that is similar (or the same!).
I have to admit I did not do much outdoors during the winter- I’m a bit of a baby when it comes to the cold. So, my summer goal is to challenge myself to at least 3 outdoor track workouts a week: Sprints, long jumps, stadium runs, laps, you get the idea… Real but kicking workouts that no treadmill or elliptical can replicate. To hold myself accountable, (and hopefully gain some people to join along with me) I will be posting one weekly workout on my FB (Elspeth Polt) and IG (ELSPETH_POLT) per week. I would love for you to take the challenge and try my workouts out! Lets make this this a fit and fun summer!
