Fitmark Ambassador Janet Fougere shares how implementing HIIT training will help you burn more fat and save time for you cardio training
Better results in half the time, sounds like a deal to good to refuse! High Intensity Interval Training also know as HIIT is an awesome form of exercise. It’s metabolically demanding and hard for your body to adopt too. That means you’ll continue to get results and be challenged every workout.
Anybody can do it because the intensity level is individual, you exercise at a pace that’s challenging for you. Plus, it’s an incredible way to burn fat since this type of training releases adrenaline (one of the functions of adrenaline is to break down fat stores and burn them). For those of you wanting to save time, you can get your cardio training done in a fraction of the time!

Intervals consist of spurts of intense exercise followed by a recovery period. Push yourself out of your comfort zone and you’ll see changes in your body composition and improvement in your performance. Pick your favorite activity and go for it, skipping, running, biking, boxing, rowing, swimming are some examples. Here’s a sample workout to get you started.
Duration Repeat Intensity
