Even if you’re just a beginner in the fitness world or have been doing it for a while, we all learn that one trainer is not always enough. Recently I have made the decision to leave my old personal trainer for my new one. I love and adore my past personal trainer for the fact that she has helped me lose over thirty pounds in the last couple months but now it was really time for me to step up my game and get to where I need to be to compete in the NPC industry.
Having family in the industry makes it a lot tougher to especially if you are not on the level you need to be on when it comes to representing them. I choose to switch to family for the fact that with over twenty plus years in the industry I knew that they would be the ones to get me on top where I have worked so hard to be.
One of the best quotes I have ever heard is, “Do not let your fears choose your destiny. ~ Unknown.” I want everyone to know that it’s okay to switch trainers, change gyms, or whatever it may be to better your fitness career. Without change there is no progress and without progress there is no future. Stay true to yourself. If you feel like something is not for you or if you feel like your trainer is not getting you to where you need to be, speak your mind. Let them know! The only person in charge of your future is YOU. Stay True!
