Tom Brady will arguably go down in NFL history as one of the best quarterback’s to play the game. Whether or not you’re a fan of the Patriots, watching Tom Brady march down the field is an inspirational site to see. Currently playing in his 15th season, Brady has accumulated over 51,798 passing yards, with 383 touchdowns, a quarterback rating of 96.1, three Super bowl rings and two MVP awards.
Despite his personal accomplishments on and off the field, Brady truly fits Bill Belichick’s “Ignore The Noise” philosophy. It is a quote that means a lot inside the Patriots locker room; “essentially the players are trained to shut out outside voices whose comments, criticisms and proclamations ultimately mean nothing when the games are actually being played.” As a poster child of “Ignore The Noise,” Brady is consistently humble and truly abides by Bill Belichick’s coaching style. “The only thing I really care about is the respect of my teammates and trying to go out there every day and earn it,” say’s Brady in a post-game interview.
So do all of these accomplishments mean Brady will go down in history as one of the best quarterback’s to ever play the game? He is definitely in a good position; however, if you were to ask him that question he probably would refuse to respond. In summation, Tom Brady’s accomplishments on and off the field speak for himself, but it’s his attitude, work ethic and humbleness that makes him Fit the Mark!
