Working out in the morning is one of the best ways to start your day. Some experts even believe it’s one of the secrets to successful weight loss. One thing we do know about training in the early hours of the morning is how well it fires up your metabolism.
With an extra shot of caffeine, this recipe makes the perfect pre-workout smoothie to get you charged up and ready to bring it to the gym.
Morning Motivation Smoothie
- 1/3 cup cold brewed coffee concentrate
- 2/3 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
- 2-3 ice cubes
- 1/3 cup oats
- 2 scoops of NLA for Her Chocolate Eclair whey protein
Blend all ingredients together till smooth.
*For a dose of healthy fats, add one tablespoon of peanut butter, chia seeds, or flaxseeds.

Intra-Workout Protein Popsicles
- 2 cups of filtered water
- 3-4 scoops of NLA for Her Aminos
- Freshly cut strawberries
- Juicy blueberries
