If you only had wings! You could fly anywhere in the world and still stay on track, as long as you remember to pack your Fitmark Bag! In a sense, that’s just what Fitmark Ambassador Angely Rojas does, because she’s a full-time flight attendant with a full-time passion for fitness.

From The Ground Up
With Angely’s busy schedule and always being on the go, she’d be lost without her Fitmark Bag to carry all her meals to keep them fresh and cold. When you’re a flight attendant and fitness athlete, you’re bound to spend a lot of time away from home. But Angely’s job hasn’t always been up in the air. Right out of college, she found herself working a 9-5 desk job, and after a year, she put on weight and felt awful. She told us:
It wasn’t until I graduated from college that I got a wake up call. I had started working at corporate America, sitting every day at my cubicle from 9-5 and not working out at all. I put on 13 lbs in one year, I felt very unhealthy and always tired. I knew I had to make a change.
That change came when Angely signed up with an online fitness community and enrolled in an 8-week weight loss challenge with YOR 360 Health. She said:
I decided to jump on board with their business project but also with their 8 Week Challenge program to get fit. In order to help others, I knew I had to lead by example. I started to workout, eat healthy and use their supplement line.

The Fitness Community Is So Motivating
Before I had a coach, everything I learned was through reading online and with all the tips and info that people posted on IG. I learned new exercises, about proper forms, meal ideas and also got major inspiration from them. I love that now I can pass it down to many other people.
With the motivation from her #fitfam and online fitness community, Angely found it easier to stick to her fitness goals and lose the weight she had gained after college. She told us:
After 8 weeks, I was super excited to see my results and actually got chosen as one of the winners. I had dropped 14 lbs and won prizes for it. I was super excited and more motivated than ever to continue living a healthy lifestyle, permanently. I felt great!
After that, Angely was hooked and well on her way to competing in her first-ever competition. She told us:
My first show was in Feb 2014, in Dominican Republic. I won first place in my category and ever since, I fell in love with the sport. It’s been 2.5 years, I’ve done a total of 14 shows, winning 3xs as Overall Champion, and numerous first places. I have been extremely fortunate to also have 7 different sponsors and ambassador programs by my side supporting my journey.

Flight Attendant, Fitness Coach, Fitness Athlete, Entrepreneur
As any entrepreneur knows, juggling several occupations at once is all part of the job! Angely manages several occupations at once, and some of them take her away from home. Yet, she still manages to stay on track. We asked her how she does it:
I’m an international flight attendant for Delta Air Lines, a Bikini Health Coach for Team Works and I have my nutrition business.
Balancing everything sometimes can be extremely challenging, especially when I’m preparing for a show – because I have a lot of particular needs.
Such as, I need to eat at certain times, get a certain amount of rest and always work out.
However, I’ve adapted really well to my lifestyle and have been able to manage and make it work:
- I squeeze in my workouts in between my trips
- I’ve learned to work out at all odd hours
- And handle better being jet-lagged
- I always work out at my layover hotel’s gym, when I’m away from home
- I bring all my meals and snacks with me
- And when I’m home in town, I organize my agenda well to handle all my business and coaching duties, along with my personal life
The Secret Is in the Bag

Angely’s Top 3 Fitness Tips
- Work out at least 4xs a week. Incorporate weight training and cardio.
- Hydrate yourself. I drink 1-2 gallons of water a day. I also start my day with a glass of water and 1/2 squeezed lemon. It helps digestion, to activate your organs and to get rid of toxins.
- Follow the 80/20 rule. 80% of the time eat clean and healthy, and 20% eat the foods that you enjoy. Find that balance to enjoy your journey, but at the same time staying on track.
Angely’s Favorite Go-To Recipe
Everybody has their favorite recipe that they turn to again and again. For Angely, it’s breakfast protein pancakes. Here’s what she said:
I’m not too creative in the kitchen honestly. I’m pretty basic. But I do love making my breakfast pancakes when I want to mix my carbs, protein and fats in one shot. I mix:
- 1/2 cup of oats
- 4 egg whites
- a pinch of stevia
- 1tbs of cinnamon
- 1/2 banana
I blend it, put it in a pan and cook it as pancakes! For toppings, I spread peanut butter on it and the other 1/2 of the banana. It’s delicious!
Achieving Your Goals
Angely loves to share her experiences with other people who are working towards their own fitness goals. As someone who has worked her way up from being overweight and out of shape to competing on stage, she’s a living testament of what can be achieved with commitment and hard work. She says,
Stay consistent towards your health goals and never give up. I know we all want the results fast, but believe me that with little changes daily and with consistency, you will see the big changes. You’ll look back and be proud. And when you mess up, just remember that tomorrow it’s a new day and you can start fresh. Lastly, don’t compare yourself to others. It’s YOUR journey, your goals, your body – embrace it!
Whether she’s up in the air or flying high from working out and competing on stage, Angely has figured out the formula for working it all out. It all starts with the right bag!
