All fitness journeys begin somewhere and for Fitmark Ambassador Giselle Falla, it was the summer of 2013. Feeling bogged down with running a business and raising three children, Giselle decided it was time to take charge of her health and get back into shape.
“I made a decision to change my lifestyle because I wasn’t happy with the way I felt and looked. At that time I hadn’t worked out in years. I told my husband I wanted to get back into the gym, but this time I wanted to do something different, I wanted to build muscle but I didn’t know how.”
After doing some research into the “importance of proper nutrition and supplementation,” Giselle “learned different exercises, practiced proper technique in the gym” and designed her own routines. To her surprise, she discovered she had a real “passion for weight lifting,” and with a little determination and a lot of discipline, she began to build lean muscle.
To keep her motivated and help track her progress, Giselle took to social media and set up an Instagram page @GiselleFalla. She says,
“I shared what I ate, my workouts, progress and fitness tips in efforts of providing motivation, encouragement and inspiration to others. I grew a following of amazing supporters. It’s been great! I enjoy being able to help people, but they also help to keep me motivated.”
The best part is, after two years of training hard and lifting weights, not only has she realized her dream, but she has been crowned Spokesmodel for Team Labrada 2015.

One of Giselle’s favorite recipes is her protein pancakes:
“My protein pancakes are something that I’m proud to call my own. I love them and have received a lot of positive feedback from people that have tried my recipe and love them. So that makes me happy!”
Giselle Falla’s Protein Pancakes
- ½ banana
- ½ cup of uncooked oats
- ½ scoop of Jamie Eason’s Lean Body for Her, natural vanilla whey protein powder
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp powdered peanut butter
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 egg whites
- 2 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
Blend all the ingredients together. Cook and enjoy! Makes 5 protein pancakes.
When Giselle isn’t making protein pancakes or in the gym performing 70-lb bicep curls, she’s busy running Redback One with her husband – a company that specializes in tactical training for the military, law enforcement, government agencies, as well as the private sector.
