William Gates Jr.
My name is William Gates Jr. I'm a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Running Coach, and a Certified Yoga instructor. Health and fitness is my life and I enjoy working with people who have a desire to better themselves. I've been working as a fitness trainer for around 4 years and have loved every minute of it. I've had the chance to work with people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Health and fitness is universal and people need help, so I do what I can to be involved and assist however possible!
My training philosophy is based on proper form, injury prevention techniques, strength training, consistent work, proper nutrition, allowing recovery, which lead to desired results. I've been running for over a decade and fortunately have not had any running related injuries due to proper mechanics, injury prevention techniques and so on – which proves that I can help others enjoy a life of healthy running, fitness and personal achievements.
I started running competitively and long distances at the end of 2009. I completed IronMan Louisville in 2010, along with several other long distance races. I'm a Boston qualifier and I've won two 60km Ultra marathons. Most most recent accomplishment was running and completing 10 marathons in 10 days. I believe that fitness is a journey and I want to spread the journey with everyone.
